Carol Salb, president and owner of Reddington Designs, opened her firm in 1986 and has always worked with the assumption that homeowners should feel their home is a reflection or themselves. To this end, Carol and her team set aside their own personal tastes to help create a unique, well-designed space that portrays each homeowner's individuality. As a consequence, a personal relationship develops between the homeowner and the designer that enhances the entire experience for everyone. The result is a multifaceted approach which embraces all styles and forms of design, gifting homeowners with a space that is uniquely their own.
The master bathroom–which was short on storage space before our redesign–benefitted from a hand-carved, built-in armoire. It provides space for both clothing and linens behind the intricately carved designs and solid brass hardware sourced from Italy.
Curvy, velvet seating and silk draperies bring Old World elegance to the sitting area just outside the master bathroom in a suburban Chicago home.
